Nice Matin talks about it in its edition of 04/28/20: my interview by Amélie Maurette can be read in today’s edition. On the theme “how regional creators live their lockdown”. Many thanks to the newspaper! Personally I decided to subscribe to their digital formula (the first month is 1 €) to support the daily, since the newspaper regularly and generously supports local authors and creators.
The period of containment to which the French population and a good part of humanity are forced, led me to want to produce a series of artworks on the theme of the fight against the Covid-19. Artists, like any citizens, must put their talents in the war that opposes us to this epidemic. For my part, I decided to donate about half of the benefits from the possible sales of these drawings to the profit of associations working for the French or Italian Hospitals.
Here is a very nice photo made by Maxime Melnikov (www.photohunter.fr) of my bronze sculpture “Where are you?” available for booking on this site. The dimensions of the work are 16x12x8cm, it was produced in 2019.
A relatively exceptional work is in progress concerning the Pink Cat by Jérémy Taburchi, since a founder is currently working on the realization of the artist’s first bronze sculpture. It will be a print run in 8 numbered and signed copies of his sculpture “Allo t Où?”, Plus 4 copies by artists. Thanks to the Itinerant Mergers Workshop which is currently working on the project.
I am happy to announce that the site now offers a “Large formats” category which lists all the paintings and sculptures produced in more or less significant dimensions. I invite you to discover them by clicking on the following link. Below is an example of a table in this category.
We knew the work of Jérémy Taburchi on the subject with his “Cougourdons 3D” printed in 3D on his printer. The result was a plastic cougour, with a satin appearance, and produced in white or pink tones. Here he is improving the technique by now offering Cougourdons from Nice printed in 3D “metal”. The objects in the end are made of solid aluminum and are gilded with fine gold. A good gift idea for calabash collectors, while waiting for the famous Cougourdons Festival 2019 in the Gardens of Cimiez. Who does not have his Cougourde is not nissart!
