You can now order one of 8 copies (plus 4 artists’ copies) of my interpretation of the myth of San Sebastian, the martyred and sagittated Roman soldier. The Pink Cat lends itself here again to the exercise in order to interpret the character of the saint. Cult structuring the church for centuries, the imagery related to it was recovered some time ago now by the Gay community which made it one of its symbols. The sculpture that is offered to you here measures approximately 11 cm in height and will be numbered and signed. It will be patinated and probably brushed. You can pay a deposit only or pay the entire work by going to this page or by clicking on the image below (the work will be finalized and completed by the addition of the arrows).
Do you know that I am open to any proposal if you have a particular subject to achieve? Of course, before I agree to produce the work, whether it be a painting or a sculpture, the subject must please me and inspire me, which is not always the case… I I thus more often refused the work that I was offered than I accepted them. Nevertheless in recent months I met an amateur of my works who offered me to work on an ex-voto: this nice character having been the victim of a rather serious accident, he wanted to give thanks to Saint Rita, patroness of the causes desperate, to thank her for her recovery. So we worked together on the subject, remotely, and once he was satisfied with the result, I got in touch with the Guyot Creste Foundry in Vallauris so that he could make a bronze, a unique piece. You can discover the result of the melting, before patina, on the photos below.
I am happy to now offer you on this site the very last bronze sculpture of the Pink Cat: the “Champichat“. In this sculpture, my character seems asleep, leaning against the foot of a giant mushroom! The sculpture is printed in 8 copies plus 4 artists’ copies. It was made by the Atelier de Fusions Itinérantes and patinated by him. For my part, I did the painter part (the character) and the varnish. There are a few copies left, don’t miss out! Delivery will be free for people living between Nice and Menton, as well as in Monaco.
It is with great pleasure that I received the first copies of my “Champichat“, my very last patinated bronze sculpture. The latter represents the Pink Cat asleep and resting against the feet of a giant mushroom. The sculpture was made by Atelier des Fusioles (formerly Atelier de Fusions Itinérantes). The pink patina of the Cat remains to be expected, but the work can also be ordered as is.
It is with great pleasure that we all see this year 2021 arrive as full of hope. Le Chat Rose joins me in sending you our best wishes for health and happiness.
You can now buy the book online! For all Chat Rose enthusiasts who haven’t participated in the crowdfunding, here’s an opportunity to participate. Otherwise, distribution begins in bookstores in Nice and the surrounding area.

Nice Matin talks about it in its edition of 04/28/20: my interview by Amélie Maurette can be read in today’s edition. On the theme “how regional creators live their lockdown”. Many thanks to the newspaper! Personally I decided to subscribe to their digital formula (the first month is 1 €) to support the daily, since the newspaper regularly and generously supports local authors and creators.

The period of containment to which the French population and a good part of humanity are forced, led me to want to produce a series of artworks on the theme of the fight against the Covid-19. Artists, like any citizens, must put their talents in the war that opposes us to this epidemic. For my part, I decided to donate about half of the benefits from the possible sales of these drawings to the profit of associations working for the French or Italian Hospitals.

Here is a very nice photo made by Maxime Melnikov (www.photohunter.fr) of my bronze sculpture “Where are you?” available for booking on this site. The dimensions of the work are 16x12x8cm, it was produced in 2019.
