Caturn Devouring His Son

500,00

The Pink Cat was invited here in a famous painting by Francisco de Goya: “Saturn devouring his son”. Painted on the walls of his house between 1819 and 1823, the painting was then transferred to a canvas and has since been on display at the Prado Museum in Madrid. In this parody, Jérémy Taburchi’s Pink Cat takes the form of a Caturn devouring a coronavirus. For the record, this particular drawing was first sketched during the first confinement of 2020, following the request of a collector to make it a series on the theme of the pandemic.
